Somalia (Federal Republic of Somalia)
Somalia is our primary area of expertise. We provide comprehensive country knowledge covering governance and constitutional affairs, clan dynamics and structures, the justice and security sectors, the influence and operations of Al-Shabaab, displacement and IDP conditions, gender-based violence, FGM/C, forced marriage and trafficking, political and religious persecution, and the situation of minority clans and other vulnerable groups. Our Somalia team includes a senior Somali lawyer with 40 years of post-qualification experience.

We provide legal and country expertise on Kenya through our Kenyan legal consultant. Coverage includes the Kenyan legal system, human rights conditions, political dynamics, and cross-border issues with neighbouring states.
